Welcome! I’m Tracey Love, and lucky to call Taranaki my home. I am a therapist-in-training. I share my life with my loving partner and our young family of boys, and together we embrace the beauty of everyday moments while living healthily, and sustainably, on our small farmlet.
My journey began with a University Diploma in a hospital healthcare field, which paved the way for many years in the health industry. I've worked both in pharmacy and in numerous hospitals across New Zealand and internationally. As a frontline healthcare worker, I’ve had the honor of caring for patients in critical care—whether they were wounded, battling debilitating conditions or feeling vulnerable while needing elective surgery. In those intense moments, I witnessed a heartbreaking truth: sometimes, they were beyond medical help, regardless of age.
This experience opened my eyes to a larger issue. In both clinical settings and many workplaces, there’s a serious lack of wrap-around mental health support. Burnout is real; it’s often dismissed as ‘it’s life - we all have problems and hurt feelings’ and rarely discussed in a compassionate, healthy way that validates your emotional struggle and isolation. Too frequently, people are left to self-regulate and just... manage. Even with the strongest of minds, suffering persists. Negative memories, negative self-talk, negative personalities, burned-out colleagues also seeking answers and needing help to process tragic / stressful events; managing daily general pressures of your chosen professions and day-to-day lives. Who is there? Who is nurturing you, and your unprocessed pain and pressures?
Discovering the Power of the Mind
Through these experiences, I realized that health isn’t just about keeping active or eating & drinking right; it starts with a healthy mind. Like many, I was drawn to meditation. However, conventional meditation methods didn’t work for me. With a mind full of stress, physical aches / symptoms, and relentless negative mind chatter, I found it impossible to sit quietly and focus on a candle flame. I nearly quit meditation altogether.
Determined to find a better way to lifelong self-care, I discovered Clinical Hypnotherapy through the NZ Integrative Hypnotherapy Institute. Over the past 15 months, I've been training with some of New Zealand’s best therapists. Here, I was introduced to Guided Visualisation Meditations—techniques that transformed my life. I learned that while traditional meditation is powerful if you can master self-control over your thoughts, it often takes years to reach that level. I simply didn't have that time or patience. What if I told you there is a short-cut to mind-health transformation?
My Path to Teaching Meditation
With a Foundation in Herbal Medicine through Harker Herbals; a Meditation Instructor certificate from the Yoga Alliance (YACEP); a Level 1 Foundation in Reiki, along with my extensive experience in healthcare, I decided to combine my passions. After studying psychology through hypnotherapy, mindset training and life / health coaching, I started leading guided meditation classes online. My mission is to bring this profound healing modality to you, in person—helping you experience bliss, ease your mind, and nurture your soul.
